FRESH is a two year project funded until the end of March 2011 by the Public Health Agency and delivered by the Southern Group Environmental Health Committee in conjunction with Armagh City and District Council, Banbridge District Council, Craigavon Borough Council, Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council and Newry and Mourne District Council.

The main aim of the project is to encourage and support members of five local community groups/organisations from across the five constituent Councils areas to achieve a healthy, balanced and safe diet by providing practical community based support and advice on nutrition and healthy eating.

The programme of work has been designed to meet the needs of the selected groups / organisations and includes programmes such as Cook it! and Weigh to Health and food gardens.
