Community Eco-Challenge
The Community Eco-Challenge is a pilot project for Northern Ireland. It will help 5 local community
groups (100 households) over the next year, to calculate how sustainable (or not) their lifestyles are.
Through close mentoring and support by the Community Eco-Challenge team, the groups will be encouraged
to make simple lifestyle changes in order to move towards a way of life which reduces their impact on
the natural world.
Ecological Footprint Conference & Exhibition 2008 – “A Step in the Right Direction for Local Government”,

excellent opportunity to attend an event that will have representation from a broad spectrum of NI
decision makers including NI Councils, Central Government and other agencies. Maximise your
presence at the event by exhibiting and showcasing your products to this high profile audience.
